Passo della Bocchetta

From the entrance of the campsite, turn left towards the centre of the village with its four horse chestnuts; on the right corner, there is the sign for Madonna Del Lago, a 2,5 km climb. At the sanctuary, take the path uphill between the two churches. There will be two bends, one on the right and one on the left. Turn left again to get to a plain and go on for 100 metres until you find a junction and the sign to Passo Della Bocchetta. Turn right and take the slightly uphill path through the woods up to a tarred road; there, I suggest turning left and walk for fifty meters to enjoy the viewpoint and the magnificent view of the Borbera Valley. Then, go back on the tarred road up to a junction, turn left towards the village of Agliani, follow the road down to the hamlet of Bagnara and, at the bottom, turn left at the familiar sign towards the campsite. Maybe, this is a slightly longer itinerary, 10 km in 2 or 2,5 hours.
